1990-91 – General Khun Sa, warlord in Burma controlled 80% of the regions opium trade. In 1990 he was indicted in the US on federal drugs charges but remained a fugitive. In Mid 1991 he had deposited about $300 million in BCCI. The money was fed from Taiwan and Hong Kong.

8 Sept 2015 – One female Taiwanese tourist dies in a car crash in NZ. The Haast pass one Taiwanese tourist, Yi Chieh Feng age 30 was the passenger in a rental car, driven by a 31 year old Taiwanese man. Coroner. 3 news.

29 Sept 2015 – Super typhoon Dujuan slams into Taiwan. Sky news Australia. Rain and swells. People were thrown to the ground in the category 4 storm.

18 Oct 2015 – A string of earthquakes hit Taiwan. A string of 18 earthquakes from 3.5 to 4.5 hit Taiwan Friday. WantChina Times.
